Sherberry
Overview
Sherberry is a food item used as a feed source for Hatches and Sage Hatches. Each cycle, a Hatch or Sage Hatch can eat 700 kcal of Sherberry, producing 656.3 g and 850 g of Coal per cycle, respectively.
That makes Sherberry useful when a colony is supporting coal production through ranching rather than relying only on mined fuel. Since both critter types consume the same amount of food, Sherberry can be treated like any other edible crop or ration in a ranching setup, with the main consideration being whether you want the lower-yield Hatch output or the higher-yield Sage Hatch output.
