Tin

Tin is a metal resource obtained by smelting Tin Ore in a Smelter, using Coal as fuel. It is one of the early metals in Valheim and is primarily used after the player reaches the Black Forest and begins working with bronze-age crafting.

Tin is combined with Copper at a Forge to produce Bronze, which unlocks a large portion of early mid-game equipment and structures. It is also used in crafting several forge-related items, including the Cauldron, Mead Ketill, and Butcher Knife. The listed recipes include:

• Bronze: 2 Copper, 1 Tin
• Bronze x5: 10 Copper, 5 Tin
• Cauldron: 10 Tin
• Mead ketill: 4 Tin, 6 Copper, 2 Leather Scraps
• Butcher knife: 2 Wood, 4 Tin

Like other metals, Tin cannot be teleported through a Portal without a Portal stone, so it must be transported manually or by boat.
