Metropolis Gate

An intact stone gate found at the forlorn metropolis. It stands tall and must have dazzled visitors with the giant ancient gemstone in its center.
Overview
The Metropolis Gate is a ruin structure found in the Forlorn Metropolis, part of the ancient city-like terrain scattered through the biome. It serves as one of the distinctive architectural elements of the area and fits the same weathered, high-tech aesthetic as the surrounding metropolis blocks and walls.
Like much of the Forlorn Metropolis, the gate is made from extremely durable material. Breaking nearby metropolis blocks requires a very high mining strength, although a powered Drill can still cut through them. This makes the area more of a progression obstacle than a place to quickly tunnel through, especially when navigating the hallways and enclosed sections of the biome.
A few nearby walls, especially mural walls, can react to a Glow Tulip held in front of them by lighting up. This makes the metropolis a little more interactive than a simple ruin and suggests there are visual details throughout the structure worth exploring before mining through it.
