Ground Magma Slime

Ground Magma Slime is a spawning tile found naturally in the Molten Quarry. It is one of the environmental hazards and creature-spawning surfaces in the area, and it has a chance to generate Lava Slimes and Lava Butterflies during each spawn event.

Standing on Ground Magma Slime inflicts 40 burn damage over 8.4 seconds, making it dangerous to cross without care. A trail of Ground Magma Slime is left by Igneous the Molten Mass, which can make parts of its path hazardous after it passes through an area. In practice, this means the tile can remain a threat even after the source has moved on, since it continues to punish careless movement and may still support local enemy and butterfly spawns.
