Pyrdra the Fire Titan

Overview
Pyrdra the Fire Titan is a boss found in the Desert of Beginnings. It is the sixth and final titan boss unlocked after powering up The Core. Defeating Pyrdra and interacting with its soul grants the Soul of Pyrdra, which is required for progression.
Pyrdra travels below the ground in a circular path around the Desert of Beginnings and cannot be damaged until it is summoned to the surface with a Wind Organ of Fire placed close enough to it. A Pyrdra the Fire Titan Scanner can be used to reveal its location on the map. After being defeated, Pyrdra respawns at a random location in the Desert of Beginnings once its soul disappears, which takes about 5–6 minutes.
The fight centers on managing Pyrdra’s armor and surviving the attacks of all three titan forms at once. Pyrdra spawns together with the souls of Crydra and Druidra, and these souls are invulnerable to attacks. Pyrdra itself has protective armor shown by a yellow bar above its health bar; once the armor is broken, it becomes paralyzed and falls to the ground, making it vulnerable while the souls continue attacking normally. After about 9.3 seconds, it resumes fighting and fully regenerates its armor. Because health loss during each vulnerable period is soft-capped at 25% of its maximum health, Pyrdra must be paralyzed at least four times to defeat it.
Pyrdra and its souls share some basic attacks and also have their own unique moves:
- If the player is close enough, they lunge or slam down toward the ground and damage nearby players. A hissing sound plays before this attack.
- They fire a yellow beam from their mouth that tracks the player.
- Pyrdra spits fireballs into the sky that fall in a line, with red markers showing where they will land. The impacts create Ground Magma Slime.
- Crydra creates an ice crystal on the ground that repeatedly fires two volleys of ice shards in a spiral pattern. The crystal can be destroyed by any attack.
- Druidra roars upward, causes blocks to fall from the sky, then pulls players inward before releasing a shockwave. Ground wind effects mark the dangerous area before the blast. The shockwave can be avoided by hiding behind blocks or getting far enough away.
Between attacks, Pyrdra and the souls burrow underground and switch positions, damaging nearby players as they emerge. A large cleared-out arena is strongly recommended, since movement and line-of-sight are essential to avoiding the combined attacks. High-powered melee and ranged weapons help, and any source of fire immunity is especially useful for the encounter. Effects that reduce slime slow or fire damage are also helpful against Pyrdra’s fireball attack and the resulting ground slime.
