Old Wheel

Where is the rest of it?
Overview
Old Wheels are a junk item that can be obtained by breaking Old Barrels, breaking Wheelie Bins, or digging up treasure with the Metal Detector. They are one of the many scrap finds scattered around Dinkum’s world, so they are mainly something you pick up while clearing debris, looting, or treasure hunting rather than an item you actively produce.
Like other salvage items, Old Wheels can be traded through the usual item-handling systems and may be used when a task calls for assorted building materials. They also appear in several usage recipes and transaction tables, so keeping a few on hand is worthwhile instead of discarding every one you find.
- Common sources: Old Barrels, Wheelie Bins, and buried treasure found with the Metal Detector.
- They are treated as a reusable material in the game’s item economy rather than as a quest-only collectible.
- Some deed-related requirements can call for Old Wheels among other construction materials, so they are worth stockpiling if you are expanding town infrastructure.
