Storage Barrel

The Storage Barrel is a storage container used to hold items and inventory space in Dinkum. It provides 24 available slots, making it a simple early-to-mid game option for organizing materials, tools, and other goods.

It can be placed on the ground both outdoors and inside player or guest houses, so it is useful for setting up storage wherever you are building a base or work area. Like other containers, it can be moved later with the Hand Trolley even when it contains items, which makes reorganizing a storage room or relocating a workshop much easier.

When interacting with a storage container, the Organize button sorts contents first by category, using background color as the grouping cue, and then alphabetically within each category. This makes it easier to tidy up mixed inventories after long gathering runs or crafting sessions.
