Phase Conduit

Transports liquids over terrain or buildings. Longer range than the bridge conduit, but requires power.
Overview
Phase Conduit is a powered liquid-transport building that transfers fluids across terrain and structures regardless of intervening blocks. It functions similarly to the
A Phase Conduit must be given power to actively output liquids; the receiving end does not require power to accept fluids. Each Phase Conduit can be configured to send liquids to exactly one other Phase Conduit up to 11 tiles away in any cardinal direction. Multiple Phase Conduits may target the same destination, but a single Phase Conduit can forward fluids to only one other Phase Conduit at a time. Inputs are accepted from all sides except the side actually connected to another Phase Conduit, and when a Phase Conduit is receiving power but underpowered it will still transport fluids, albeit at reduced throughput.
Phase Conduits are subject to special placement rules when placed on or over certain liquid terrains. When placed in

Configuration and behavior notes:
- To set a destination, select a Phase Conduit and then click another Phase Conduit within 11 tiles in a cardinal direction. If the source already has a destination, selecting a new target replaces it; clicking the same target again removes the link.
- Clicking a Phase Conduit that currently uses the first Phase Conduit as its destination will reverse the transport direction between them.
- If a Phase Conduit is used as a destination by others but does not itself have a destination, it will distribute incoming fluids evenly among its sides that are not connected to other Phase Conduits.
- Phase Conduits accept fluid input from all available sides except the side that contains an outgoing connection to another Phase Conduit.
- Drag-placing Phase Conduits attempts to space placed conduits 11 tiles apart automatically to improve cost efficiency when laying long-range links.
- Because Phase Conduits require power to output, place them near your power grid or provide local power to maintain optimal transfer speeds; insufficient power reduces throughput.
Use Phase Conduits when you need programmable, long-range liquid links that ignore intervening geography or buildings. They are ideal for connecting remote resource production to centralized processing or storage, for consolidating multiple fluid lines into a single hub, and for flexible routing where traditional piping or Bridge Conduits would be impractical.
