Fermenter
TypeCrafting

Overview
The Fermenter is a key crafting structure used to turn mead bases into finished meads and other fermented brews. It is part of the progression that lets players create consumables with useful effects, making it an important piece of any base dedicated to potion production.
To use a Fermenter, first prepare a mead base with the Mead Ketill, then place the base in the Fermenter and wait for the process to complete. A full fermenting cycle takes two in-game days, and most mead bases produce six finished items when they are done. This makes the Fermenter a high-value crafting station for stockpiling healing, resistance, and utility drinks before heading out to explore, fight, or build.
- The Fermenter is not an instant-crafting station; it requires time, so production is best started well before the supplies are needed.
- Since most mead bases yield six finished products, it is efficient to brew in batches rather than one at a time.
- The structure is especially important for maintaining a steady supply of meads with beneficial effects, since these consumables are a major support tool in the game.
- It works as the final step in the brewing chain: the Mead ketill creates the base, and the Fermenter completes the transformation into usable mead.
