Butcher's Table

Overview
Butcher's table is an upgrade for the Cauldron that was added in the Hearth and Home update on September 16, 2021. Like the other Cauldron upgrades, it expands cooking progression by unlocking additional food recipes rather than acting as a standalone workstation on its own.
It is a buildable station piece with 1500 durability, 1 armor, and 4 weight. Once placed, it functions as part of the Cauldron upgrade chain, so its main purpose is to improve your cooking options as you advance through the game's food system. The table is also associated with the same update that introduced several new Cauldron-level enhancements.
To make use of it, the Cauldron must already be placed on a fire source, such as over a fire pit or other valid heat source. The Cauldron can then be improved with special structures like the Butcher's table, which is one of the upgrade pieces used to unlock more cooking recipes.
In practice, the Butcher's table is a mid-game kitchen upgrade that belongs in any serious base focused on food production. Placing Cauldron upgrades close together makes the cooking area easier to use, especially when you are preparing several recipes at once. Since its role is tied to recipe expansion, it is most valuable once you begin relying on upgraded meals rather than early-game basic food.
