Unfading Candles

Unfading candles are a crafting station upgrade used with the Galdr Table, the magical workstation for creating and improving mistlands-era weapons and gear. Like other workstation upgrades, they extend the table’s effective level rather than acting as a standalone crafting station of their own.

At present, no items require a level 2 or higher Galdr table to be crafted, but upgrading the table with Unfading candles still matters because it can raise the maximum upgrade quality of gear made at the Galdr table. This makes them useful for players who want to improve magic equipment beyond its base tier.

As a Galdr table-related piece, Unfading candles must be placed indoors and under a roof to function properly.

• Introduced in patch 0.217.4 on June 16, 2023 as part of the Hildir’s Request update.
• Their main purpose is to increase the Galdr table’s level for gear upgrades, not to unlock new crafting recipes.
