Trogid

The Tropics is a warm, lush biome found mainly in the north part of the map. It is marked by palm trees and ferns, and it is one of the places where Rough Soil can be found. This biome forms an important part of exploration because it combines unique plants, animals, and insects that are not tied to the more temperate regions.

Several wildlife species are associated with the Tropics. Scrub Turkey and Wary Mu both live there, and the biome also contains a wide range of bugs across different times of day and seasons. Birdwing Butterfly appears in the Tropics during Autumn mornings, while Common Blue Tail, Duskhawker Dragonfly, Fiddler Beetle, and Goliath stick also occur there. Emperor DragonFly and Grasshopper can be found in the Tropics during Spring days, Peacock Spider is present in the morning in any season, Stag Beetle appears in Spring days, and Swallow-tail Butterfly is found during Summer and Autumn days. Some insects are not exclusive to the Tropics but still appear there, including several that are available everywhere.

The plant life in the Tropics is just as important. Palm Trees, Ferns, Bushes, Grass, Fir Grass, Spinifex Tufts, Royal Bluebell, Banana Trees, Butterfly Orchids, and Yellow Hibiscus can all be found in or associated with the biome. Bananas are one of the key resources linked to the area, and the Tropics also provides materials such as Palm Wood, Palm Tree Seeds, Tropical Grass Seeds, Fern Seeds, Spinifex Tuft, and Wary Mu Eggs. This makes the biome a strong source of both food and crafting ingredients.

A few points make the Tropics especially useful:

• Palm Trees and Ferns are the most recognizable visual markers of the biome.
• Bananas, Wary Mu, and Scrub Turkey are notable Tropics-specific finds.
• Rough Soil can be gathered there.
• Fir Grass, Grass, Ferns, Bushes, and Royal Bluebell grow back year round.
• Butterfly Orchid and Yellow Hibiscus are wildflowers that appear throughout Spring and disappear at the start of Summer if they are not replanted.

Because of its mix of renewable plants, collectible bugs, and unique animals, the Tropics is a valuable region to visit regularly throughout the year.
