Butterfly Orchid

Butterfly Orchid is a wildflower and foraging item that grows in the Tropics during Spring only. It can be found in the wild and collected for use as an item once it has been dislodged.

To harvest a Butterfly Orchid, hit it with a weapon, scythe, or another tool such as a jackhammer to knock it loose, then pick it up. Flower growth can be encouraged by cutting down nearby grass tufts, bushes, ferns, spinifex tufts, and other flowers. Like other flowers, Butterfly Orchid can also be reproduced by placing it in Flower Beds or Pots next to an empty one of any kind.

• It is a seasonal Tropics flower, so it is only available in Spring.
• It can be obtained by striking it rather than harvesting it directly.
• Nearby clearing helps flowers spread and grow more readily.
• Placing it beside an empty Flower Bed or Pot allows it to reproduce.
