Button Board

The Button Board is a town request board used for accepting bulletin-board tasks from townspeople. It serves as one of the main ways to pick up repeatable work from residents, including cooking requests, crafting requests, photo requests, clothing trades, and investigation requests. Some requests are tied to specific locations or items, while others simply ask you to bring in crafted goods or trade clothing.

Photo requests are handled through the map: after accepting the request, a camera icon appears at the marked location, and you can take a photo of anything in the general area around that icon. Camera or Camera Tripod must be purchased from Theodore in the Museum Deed after the 10th donation. Once you hand in the photo, it is removed from the Photos tab in the Adventurer’s Journal.

The Button Board can also be crafted from an Additional Bulletin Board, with the recipe consuming 6 of one material and 8 of another to make 1 board. As with other town furnishings, it can be placed to support request progression and town activity.

• Town request types shown on the board include:
  • cooking requests
  • crafting requests
  • photo requests
  • clothing trades
  • investigation requests
• Photo requests can reward up to 12,000 Dinks.
• Investigation requests may lead to finding dropped items such as Satellite parts or Jolly Sack items.
• Requests usually require you to visit the indicated location, complete the task, then return the result to the requesting townsperson.
