Desert Rose

Desert Rose is a wildflower item associated with the desert. It is not found growing naturally in the wild; instead, it is obtained by placing a flower bed on top of bones found in the Desert or inside animal dens. If the bone pile was created by the player, the flower does not appear immediately and will only yield after sleeping.

Once it has grown, Desert Rose can be collected by pressing the interact key or controller equivalent, or by striking it with a weapon, scythe, or certain tools such as the jackhammer to knock it loose before picking it up. Like other flowers, it can be reproduced by placing it in Flower Beds or Pots next to an empty spot of any kind, allowing more flowers to spread from the original placement.

• Desert Rose grows from bone piles rather than from ordinary wild spawns.
• Bone piles made by the player require sleeping before they can produce the flower.
• It can be harvested directly with interact, or dislodged with tools and weapons.
• It can be propagated in Flower Beds and Pots when placed beside an empty space.
• Sturt's Desert Rose is also the floral state emblem of the Northern Territory.
