Ear Hats

Ear Hats is a head-slot wearable item in Dinkum. Like other Variable Wearables, it is equipped rather than consumed, and it is worn in the head slot.

It can be obtained from several exploration and scavenging activities. Ear Hats can be found by breaking Old Barrels or Wheelie Bins, or by digging up treasure with a Metal Detector. There is also a chance to find it in Crab Pots, although the result depends on the biome where the crab pot is placed. The item is also listed as being available while playing during December.

Because it is a wearable item, Ear Hats is mainly used for character customization rather than direct survival or crafting progress. Once collected, it can be kept and swapped with other headgear as desired. If you are trying to obtain one, it is worth checking areas with plenty of breakable junk, using a Metal Detector on promising dig spots, and collecting from Crab Pots in different biomes to improve your chances of finding one.
