Bright Wire

Bright Wire is a crafting item that can be found in a few different ways rather than made directly from basic materials. It can be obtained by breaking Old Barrels and Wheelie Bins, by digging up treasure while Metal Detecting, and it may also be caught from a Crab Pot depending on the biome where the pot is placed.

It is used as a component in multiple crafting recipes and also appears in Fletch’s Deeds. One deed requires Bright Wire as part of its building materials, is completed overnight after placement, and rewards 1 Town Debt. The item also shows up in several recipe unlocks, including at least one tied to Hunter’s Crafting Table and another unlocked at Vehicle Licence Level 3. A seasonal recipe is also available during December.

• Break Old Barrels and Wheelie Bins whenever you find them, since both can drop Bright Wire.
• If you have a Metal Detector, treasure spots are another reliable way to look for it.
• Crab Pots can yield Bright Wire, but the result depends on the biome, so placement matters.
• Because it is used in both crafting and deeds, it is worth storing rather than selling immediately if you are progressing town upgrades or unlocking equipment.
