Gum Wood Plank

The Gum Wood Plank is a crafted building material made by processing a Gum Log in a Table Saw or Improved Table Saw. It is one of the basic wooden construction components in Dinkum and is commonly used in building projects, furniture, and town progress requirements.

Crafting it is fast: one Gum Log produces one Gum Wood Plank in 2 seconds, while larger batches take 10 seconds for 10 planks in the saw. Because it comes directly from logs, it is an early and reliable material once you have access to Gum Logs and a saw.

Gum Wood Planks are also used in a wide range of recipes and town-related tasks, including multiple construction materials and deed requirements. They appear in several Fletch’s Deeds as part of the building materials required after placement, and they are needed for some house upgrades and other town developments. In practice, keeping a stock of planks saves time when expanding buildings or completing requests.
