Old Barrel

Overview
Old Barrel is a breakable object found scattered across the island’s surface and also buried underground. It is one of the salvageable debris-type items in Dinkum, and when smashed open it produces various relics that resemble electronic devices and components.
Because Old Barrels can appear both above ground and as buried objects, they are worth checking whenever exploring new terrain or digging around suspicious spots. They can also be unearthed by certain digging-related activities, making them a useful incidental source of relics while clearing land or searching for buried finds.
- Smashing an Old Barrel can yield multiple different relic items rather than a single fixed drop.
- The drop table includes several electronic-looking relics, making Old Barrels a good source of tech-themed salvage.
- The recorded drop rates for the current version show a wide spread, with some relics appearing much more often than others.
- Drop rates were updated for game version 0.6.5.
- Since Old Barrels can be found on the surface or buried in the ground, it is efficient to break any you encounter during normal exploration instead of leaving them behind.
