Battlefield Analysis Base

Overview
Battlefield Analysis Base is a durable multipurpose combat facility used against the Dark Fog and for local base support. It is one of the main ways to collect loot from Dark Fog enemies, and it can also launch ground combat drones to defend an area. Once built, it automatically deploys its construction drones at no extra cost, making it much more than a simple turret platform.
Its base statistics are: 750 hp durability, 60 m construction range, 90 m item collection range, 60 inventory slots, 12 construction drones, 1 combat drone squad, 2.40 MW working power, and 60.0 kW standby power. The building itself has no shield, so as enemy raids grow larger it becomes increasingly difficult to block damage without support. For long-term automated defense lines, however, it is considered essential because it combines repair, reconstruction, loot collection, and drone deployment in one structure.
The Battlefield Analysis Base has several distinct functions:
- Automatic loot collection: it picks up dropped items within 90 m and stores them in its inventory. This is usually used to collect drops from destroyed Dark Fog enemies, but it also collects any dropped item, so it is useful when cleaning up accidental item spills during factory dismantling.
- Auto-reconstruction: unlocked by researching Auto Reconstruction Marking Lv. 1. If a building within 60 m is destroyed, the base marks it for reconstruction. If the required building is already in the base’s inventory, its construction drones will automatically rebuild it.
- Automatic repair: if a building within 60 m takes damage, the base’s construction drones will automatically repair it.
- Local construction support: although construction is not its primary role, building within 60 m causes the base’s construction drones to work instead of
Icarus’s. In that case, materials are taken from Icarus’s inventory. This is especially useful early on when Icarus’s construction drones are still weak; placing a temporary base before applying a large Blueprint can greatly reduce build time. - Combat drone deployment: it can field ground combat drones according to performance upgrades. These drones launch when an enemy comes within 60 m, although their actual attack behavior appears to follow additional conditions.
All of these functions can be toggled from the corresponding icons in the information panel. The construction drones are always auto-deployed when the base is built, and their count remains 12 regardless of performance upgrades. In the building panel, clicking the small ≈ icon at the upper right of the construction drone icon lets you prioritize either repair or construction.
The inventory has a special partitioned behavior. Unlike ordinary storage, it contains both normal slots and blue slots. Normal slots store items collected by the base’s loot collection function and do not accept items from Sorter or
A Storage MK.II can be built on top of the Battlefield Analysis Base to expand storage, but Storage MK.I cannot. A Logistics distributor can also be placed on top of it. Because it combines defense, recovery, and logistics-adjacent support, the Battlefield Analysis Base is especially valuable wherever automated anti-Dark Fog defenses are being established.
