Moon Fish

Moon Fish is a fish that can be caught from certain bodies of water at night, or at any time in caves. It is the only fish that can be caught in the Office Sector before visiting Far Garden, including from the fountain and swimming pool at night.

Moon Fish also has a fishing use: when added to a fishing rod, it increases the chance to catch a Moon Fish and allows Pelagic Moon Fish to be caught as well. Beyond that, no practical butchering results are listed for it at a Chef's Counter.

• Best obtained after dark in regular water, or any time in cave water.
• In the Office Sector, the fountain and swimming pool are valid early-night fishing spots.
• Using it on a fishing rod expands what can be caught, rather than serving only as a catchable creature itself.
