Hard Wood Plank

The Hard Wood Plank is a processed building material made by placing a Hard Wood Log onto either a Table Saw or an Improved Table Saw. It is one of the refined wood products in Dinkum and is used in a wide range of crafting and construction recipes.

Crafting Hard Wood Planks is straightforward: 1 Hard Wood Log produces 1 Hard Wood Plank in 2 seconds, while processing 10 logs at once produces 10 planks in 10 seconds total, or 1 second per plank. Because it is made from logs rather than gathered directly, it is best treated as a stockpiled workshop material rather than a field resource.

Hard Wood Plank is used in numerous recipes and building requirements, including several of Fletch’s deeds and construction material requests. In practice, keeping a supply on hand is useful for settlement expansion and for any projects that call for refined wood parts.
