Red Seaweed

Red Seaweed is a plant found in the Island Reef and can be collected by dislodging it from underwater tiles. It is part of the reef’s marine vegetation and can only exist in water, so it is tied to aquatic areas rather than normal land biomes.

To gather Red Seaweed, use a Diving Helmet and strike the plant with a weapon, scythe, or other suitable tools such as a jackhammer to knock it loose, then pick it up. The plant can also be planted by clicking a tile in water, but it only grows in water, so land placement is not possible.

Red Seaweed is a straightforward resource to gather once the player has access to underwater exploration. Since it appears in the Island Reef, it is most naturally obtained while traveling through that area and harvesting nearby sea plants. The key requirement is that the tile must be submerged; if a tile is not in water, the plant will not grow there.
