Overview

Seaweed is a water-grown item that can be found in the ocean and also planted back into underwater tiles. It is one of the few plants in Dinkum that only grows in water, so it cannot be placed on dry land.

Seaweed can be obtained by chopping down the seaweed that grows naturally in the ocean. To harvest it safely, use a Diving Helmet so you can work underwater, then strike the plant with a weapon, a scythe, or even certain tools such as a jackhammer to dislodge it before picking it up. Harvesting has a chance to drop 1–2 Seaweed.

It can also be replanted underwater by clicking on a tile in the water. Once placed, it grows only in water, so making use of it depends on having a suitable submerged spot nearby.
