Overview

High-Strength Material refers to a component made from natural resources after more than two stages of processing. In production chains that use multiple raw materials, the material’s tier is determined by the longest chain in its manufacturing route.

This classification is mainly useful when describing complex intermediate products in Dyson Sphere Program, since these materials sit beyond basic refined products and usually represent the point where several production steps converge into a more advanced component.
