Distractor capsule

Overview
A
Distractor robots cause nearby enemies to prioritize attacking them over the player or other targets, provided those enemies are not already committed to attacking the player. This behavior makes Distractor capsules effective for distracting worms and groups of biters during base assaults or while defending outposts. Because Distractors are immobile, they do not contribute to the follower robot count limit that applies to other combat robots and they do not count toward the minions achievement. The total number of active Distractors is effectively limited only by their built-in lifespan, the number of Distractor capsules the player can deploy, and the spawn delay between uses.
- Distractor capsules are best used by throwing one or several into the center of an enemy worm nest or biter swarm to draw turret and worm fire away from the player and combat robots.
- Deploy Distractors when approaching enemy bases to force worms to focus on the decoys, allowing turrets and combat units to clear enemies with reduced risk to the player.
- Distractors do not move or follow the player, so place them where they will attract the most enemy attention rather than relying on them to chase targets.
- Because enemies already targeting the player will not necessarily switch targets, time capsule throws so enemies have not yet committed to attacking the player for maximum effect.
- The number of simultaneous Distractors depends on capsule availability, their individual lifespan, and the capsule spawn delay; stacking capsules in quick succession can produce multiple active distractors if timing allows.
