Compost Bin

The Compost Bin is a crafting station used to turn suitable inputs into Fertiliser. It can be crafted at the Crafting Table after unlocking Farming Licence Level 2 from Fletch. Once placed, it functions as part of the farming progression and helps raise Farming skill through regular use.

To use it, add the required material and wait for processing to finish. When a batch is ready, the Fertilizer appears at the front of the Compost Bin for collection. Different inputs take different amounts of time to convert, ranging from very short processing times to multi-day waits, so the bin is best treated as a passive production station rather than something that must be constantly managed.

The Compost Bin is also tied to the farming milestone for using a composter, so it is worth setting one up early if you plan to focus on Agriculture. Because it produces Fertilizer, it supports crop production by providing a reusable way to improve farming efficiency instead of relying only on purchased supplies.
