Glass Bulb

The Glass Bulb is a crafting material that can be found in the world rather than purchased directly. It is obtained by breaking Old Barrels and Wheelie Bins, or by digging up treasure while Metal Detecting. These sources make it a useful item to collect while exploring settlements, scavenging, and searching for buried loot.

It can also appear as loot from Crab Pots, although the result depends on the biome where the pot is placed. Because of that, Glass Bulb is one of those items that may turn up incidentally while gathering other resources instead of requiring a dedicated farming method.

• Use a Metal Detector around likely treasure spots to uncover buried items, including Glass Bulb.
• Crab Pot rewards vary by biome, so place them in different areas if you are specifically trying to obtain it through fishing-related collection.
