To unlock the ability to request it, the player must deliver 10 Berkonium Ore and donate 1 Shiny Disc to Franklyn. After that, the machine arrives in the mailbox the next morning. Like other commissioned inventions, it is tied to Franklyn’s research and appears as a progression reward rather than a simple shop purchase.

Its main advantage is speed. The Improved Stone Grinder processes materials more quickly than the standard version, and some materials also produce increased output compared with normal grinding. That makes it the better choice whenever a recipe or resource chain depends on repeated grinding, especially if you are handling large batches.
