Shark Statue

The Shark Statue is a special interactable found on the Island Reef. Two Shark Statues spawn on each map, and they serve as a source of Treasure Maps rather than as a normal decorative object at first.

Using a Shark Statue with 5 Old Keys consumes the keys and grants a Treasure Map. Reading the map marks a red cross on the player’s map, leading to a buried Wooden Chest that can be dug up at the indicated spot. Each Shark Statue can be used for this reward up to a shared limit of 20 Treasure Maps per Island Reef visit; once that limit is reached, both statues become pick-up decorations that can be collected and moved.

• Bring a supply of Old Keys before visiting the Island Reef if you want to farm Treasure Maps efficiently.
• The 20-use limit is shared across both statues on the map, so using one statue does not create a separate cap from the other.
• After the limit is reached, the statues no longer produce Treasure Maps and can be taken as decoration.
