Overview

Tin Bar is a processed metal item used in crafting and construction. It is made from Tin Ore in a furnace, and it can also be obtained by recycling a Tin Sheet. The bar is one of the basic tin materials in the game and is closely tied to early metal production before larger-scale smelting and fabrication become available.

Tin Bar can be produced by placing 5 Tin Ore into a Crude Furnace, Furnace, or Blast Furnace, which yields 1 Tin Bar after 60 seconds in the Crude Furnace/Furnace or 15 seconds in the Blast Furnace. A smaller recipe also exists for 1 Tin Ore to 1 Tin Bar, taking 30 seconds in the Crude Furnace/Furnace or 1 second in the Blast Furnace. It can also be made from 1 Tin Sheet, which converts into 1 Tin Bar in 60 seconds with a Crude Furnace/Furnace or 2 seconds in a Blast Furnace. Tin Ore itself can also reappear on rough soil, and Tin Bar may be found as possible loot from the Gacha Machine.

Beyond smelting, Tin Bar is a useful intermediate material. It can be used on a Table Saw to make a Tin Sheet, letting it cycle between bar and sheet forms depending on what a player needs for building or crafting. It is also consumed in various crafting recipes and town progression requirements, including building-material tasks for Fletch’s deeds. Some of these uses are bulk requirements, while others call for only a few bars, so keeping a supply on hand is practical once tin processing becomes part of a player’s routine.
