Blast Furnace

The Blast Furnace is a late-game crafting machine obtained through Franklyn’s Lab. It is commissioned after delivering 10 Berkonium Ore to unlock the recipes that require berkonium, and after donating 1 Shiny Disc to Franklyn. Once commissioned, it arrives in the mailbox the following morning.

Its main purpose is to process materials into refined outputs over time. The device supports several different batch sizes and crafting times, so it is useful both for single-item processing and for larger production runs when you want to save time by smelting multiple materials at once.

• One listed recipe processes 1 input in 10 seconds and produces 5 output.
• Several other listed recipes process 5 input in 20 seconds, at a rate of 10 seconds per item, and produce 2 output.
• Another recipe processes 5 input in 4 minutes and produces 1 output.
• Two additional recipes use 3 input and 5 input, both producing 2 output.

Because the Blast Furnace is tied to berkonium progression, it is one of the machines that marks the transition into advanced production. It is worth unlocking as soon as possible if you are planning to work with berkonium-related crafting, since it opens the recipes that depend on that material and expands the number of items you can refine through automated processing.
