Overview

The Gacha Machine is a commissioned item that dispenses a random reward the day after 5,000 Dinks are deposited into it. It is unlocked by commissioning it at Franklyn’s Lab after obtaining Commerce Licence Level 1 from Fletch and donating 7 Shiny Discs to Franklyn. Once commissioned, it arrives in the mailbox the next day.

The machine is treated as a purchase rather than a placeable decoration, and it cannot be placed inside a house. To use it, the player pays the required Dinks, then waits until the next day for the result. If the game is quit without saving, the machine will generate a different reward when the save is loaded again, so the final prize is only locked in after the game is properly saved.

Its loot pool is broad and includes a mix of resources, tools, equipment, food, crafting materials, and decorative or path items. Examples from the reward table include Opal, Iron Bar, Copper Bar, Street Lamp, Wooden Flower Bed, Copper Pickaxe, Basic Pickaxe, Tin Bar, Miners Helmet, Basic Spear, Copper Spear, Iron Spear, Worm Farm, Slingshot, Basic Axe, Copper Axe, Iron Pickaxe, Fishing Rod, Roo Poo, Brick Flower Bed, Furnace, Bird Coop, Chicken Egg, Milk, High Quality Milk, Bee House, Vombat Poo, Copper Scythe, Iron Scythe, Scythe, Cooked Prime Meat, Raw Prime Meat, Copper Ore, Tin Ore, Iron Ore, Nails, Feather, Maggie Egg, Copper Flower Pot, Desert Rose Pot, Cement Planter, Marble, Marble Pillar, Marble Pedestal, and a wide selection of paths and benches.

Some rewards are especially notable because they are exclusive to the machine’s table. The Basic Bench can only be obtained through the Gacha Machine, and the reward pool also includes several bench variants such as Gum Wood Bench, Hard Wood Bench, Iron Wood Bench, Marble Bench, and Palm Wood Bench. This makes the machine useful not only for getting uncommon materials and tools, but also for collecting otherwise hard-to-find furniture and infrastructure pieces.

Because the outcome is random, the Gacha Machine is best used when the player is comfortable spending Dinks for a chance at rare items rather than targeting one specific reward. It is most valuable once the player has spare currency and wants to fill gaps in equipment, crafting materials, or building options.
