Iron Scythe

The Iron Scythe is a farming tool used to harvest a wide range of plants and crops efficiently. It can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Farming Licence Level 3 from Fletch, and it may also appear as possible loot from the Gacha Machine.

When used, the scythe cuts in a 3 × 2 area in front of the player, making it useful for clearing and harvesting several tiles at once. It can cut bushes, ferns, grass, and spinifex tufts, and it is also used to harvest wheat and sugar cane. Cutting certain plants has a chance to yield seeds. Be careful when using it near crops that are not fully grown or that do not require a scythe to harvest, as the tool will destroy them instead of collecting them.

• Durability can be restored at the Repair Table.
• Best used for large patches of scythe-harvestable plants rather than mixed crop fields.
• Its wide swing makes it easy to accidentally damage nearby immature crops, so spacing matters.
