Vombat Whistle

The Vombat Whistle is a tool used to herd farm animals in Dinkum. It can be purchased in Animal Shop Deed, and its main purpose is to draw nearby Vombats or domesticated Vombulls toward the spot where it was last used.

When activated, the whistle produces a sound that attracts eligible animals to the player’s last position. This makes it useful for moving livestock around the farm or guiding them into pens without having to push them directly. However, farm animals have a short attention span, so the whistle must be used repeatedly when herding pleeps over any meaningful distance.

• It attracts nearby Vombats and domesticated Vombulls.
• It does not work on Wild Vombulls.
• Repeated use is needed to keep animals moving over long distances.
• It is most effective for leading livestock into a more controlled area rather than trying to move them in one use.

Because the whistle works from the player’s last used position, it is best used in short steps while keeping the animals in range. This makes it a practical support tool for managing livestock, especially when organizing multiple animals at once.
