Scythe

The Scythe is a farming tool used to cut a wide variety of plants and crops. It can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Farming Licence Level 1 from Fletch, and it can also appear as possible loot from the Gacha Machine.

When used, the Scythe cuts in a 3×1 area in front of the player. It is useful for harvesting bushes, ferns, grass, spinifex tufts, wheat, and sugar cane, with some of these plants giving a chance to drop seeds when cut. Because of its sweep, it is best used carefully around planted crops: if a crop is not fully grown, or if it does not require a scythe to harvest, the tool can destroy it instead of collecting it.

The Scythe’s durability can be repaired at the Repair Table.
