Pleep Whistle

The Pleep Whistle is a tool used to herd farm animals by sound. When activated, it emits a whistle that draws nearby Pleeps and domesticated Plunks toward the player’s current position. It is especially useful for moving animals around a farm or guiding them into a pen without having to push or chase them directly.

Its effect is limited by the short attention span of farm animals. If you want to move Pleeps over any meaningful distance, the whistle must be used repeatedly, since they will only keep following for a short time before losing interest. This makes it more effective as a short-range guiding tool than as a one-time command for long travel. For the same reason, it works best when used in a clear path with frequent re-use, rather than expecting animals to follow continuously on their own.

The whistle does not affect Wild Plunks. Only domesticated Plunks respond to it, so it is not a universal animal-control item and should be used with that limitation in mind. When handling mixed groups, it can still be helpful for separating and redirecting animals that are already part of a farm setup.
