Copper Scythe

The Copper Scythe is an early farming tool that can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Farming Licence Level 2 from Fletch. It is an upgraded scythe compared to the basic version, swinging faster and making plant harvesting more efficient. It can also appear as possible loot from the Gacha Machine.

Like other scythes, it is used to cut a wide range of plants and farm materials. It can be used on bushes, ferns, grass, and spinifex tufts, and it is also used to harvest wheat and sugar cane. When used, it cuts in a 3x1 area in front of the player, which makes it useful for clearing lines of plants quickly or collecting multiple crops in a single swing.

The Copper Scythe is especially useful for gathering seeds, since cutting many wild plants gives a chance to obtain them. This makes it a convenient tool for expanding farms or collecting decorative and foraged plants. It is also a practical option for maintaining fields, since its wider cut helps clear grouped vegetation faster than single-target tools.

There are a few important cautions when using it:

• Do not use it near crops that are not fully grown.
• Avoid using it on plants that do not require a scythe to harvest, as it will destroy them.
• Its wide cutting pattern means placement matters, especially in dense farms or near mixed plantings.

The tool’s durability can be repaired at the Repair Table, so it can be kept in service rather than replaced once damaged.
