Tree Pinchers

Tree Pinchers are a tool used to move trees from one tile to another. They can be found randomly inside a red chest in Hot Hot Hot, making them a useful reward for exploring that region.

When a tree is picked up and placed elsewhere, it may appear different in size or shape than it did before. This is caused by the attributes coded into the destination tile, and those traits cannot be modified. Tree Pinchers can be used on trees that have just been planted as well as trees at any stage of maturity, so they are useful for rearranging orchards, landscaping, or relocating established trees without having to replant from scratch.

Because the tree’s appearance is determined by the tile rather than the original tree itself, the result after moving may not exactly match the tree you picked up. If you are planning a decorative layout, keep in mind that the final look depends on where the tree is placed.
