Gallium
CategoryErekirian

Overview
Gallium is a special liquid in Mindustry with no general-purpose in-game uses. It is primarily produced by the
Gallium technical and gameplay attributes:
- Produced by: Slag Centrifuge.
- Sources feeding its production: Slag and Sand.
- Downstream products: none at present; listed as usable only in niche industrial processes.
- Liquid internal ID: #6; English ID: gallium.
- Explosion chance: 0%.
- Flammability (burn chance): 0%.
- Heat capacity: 50%.
- Viscosity: 50%.
- Temperature: 50%.
- Boiling point: 2.0 (game units).
Practical notes and strategy:
- Because Gallium presently has no mainstream crafting outputs, it is primarily a byproduct of processing slag with the Slag Centrifuge; plan production and storage accordingly to avoid unused tanks filling up.
- Its zero explosion and burning values make it safe to store near volatile processes or core defenses without added risk.
- The physical-stat values (heat capacity, viscosity, temperature) are middling; use ordinary pipes and pumps rather than specialized thermal or viscous handling unless a mod or map mechanic requires it.
- Historical and flavor context: the name and concept draw from real-world gallium (element Ga), a low-melting-point metal, which fits the game’s Erekir environment where liquids behave unusually compared to Earth.
- Keep an eye on mods and map-specific recipes: Gallium has seen use in past builds and mod content, so future maps or community mods may provide new uses.
