Encyclopedia

Encyclopedia is a craftable book item made at the Hunter's Crafting Table in Ted Selly's camp at the Great Bite. It serves as a combined Bug Book, Fish Book, and Critter Book, giving one item the functions of all three.

To use it, place the book in the hotbar and activate it. This displays the names and sell prices of nearby bugs, fish, and critters that the player has already caught before. If the player has not caught a nearby creature yet, its information is shown as question marks instead.

• The Encyclopedia is useful for identifying and valuing wildlife without switching between separate reference books.
• Its effect depends on the player's catch history, so uncaught species remain unknown until first captured.
• Because it covers bugs, fish, and critters at once, it is especially convenient for general field use.
