Sprinkler

The Sprinkler is an irrigation item that can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Irrigation Licence Level 1 from Fletch. It is used to automate watering on farms and works with a Water Tank, which is required for it to operate.

When placed, the Sprinkler waters a 3×3 area centered on itself, covering 8 surrounding tiles. It only runs during the first two hours of the morning, from 7:00am to 9:00am, so it is designed as a scheduled farm helper rather than an always-on device. It can also be used on grass tiles to help grass tufts grow.

The recipe and placement are straightforward:

• Crafting recipe: 5 of one input, 4 of one input, 4 of one input, and 4 of one input, producing 1 Sprinkler.
• Usage pattern: 1 input and 5 of another input produce 1, and 5 of one input plus 1 of another produce 1, matching its simple operational support setup.

Sprinklers can also be found randomly in loot chests in the Undergrove and may appear as a rotating stock item on Jimmy's Boat. This makes them useful even before a player has fully built out their irrigation infrastructure, especially for larger farms where consistent morning watering saves time.
