Liquid Filter

The Liquid Filter is a powered plumbing building used to separate one chosen liquid from a mixed pipeline. It must be connected to both Liquid Pipes and a Wire network, and once built the filter type can be selected immediately. Any liquid matching the selected type is routed to the filtered output, while all other liquids are sent to the regular output pipe.

The building only works while powered. If it loses power, no liquid passes through at all. It also consumes power whenever it is operating, regardless of which output the liquid is sent to, including when the filter is set to "none."

• All incoming liquids are sent to the output pipe except the liquid chosen for filtering.
• If no filtered output is selected, every incoming liquid packet is sent to the regular output.
• The Liquid Filter does not allow unpowered pass-through.
• Power consumption continues even when no filtering target is set.
• Its model resembles a Francis turbine.

In practice, the Liquid Filter is useful for splitting mixed fluid lines into dedicated branches, especially when managing shared plumbing from multiple sources. Because it requires continuous power, it is best used where a stable power grid is available; otherwise, the line will stop completely.
