Liquid Intake Fitting
Overview
Liquid Intake Fitting is a rocket building used to move liquid into a rocket’s storage system. It is the power-free counterpart to the Liquid Rocket Port Loader, which consumes 240 W, and it can be connected to a Liquid Spacefarer Output Port to transfer liquid into a Liquid Cargo Tank or Large Liquid Cargo Tank.
Because it does not use electricity, Liquid Intake Fitting is useful when the goal is simple liquid transfer without adding another powered device to the rocket. This makes it especially practical for long-duration rockets or designs that try to minimize power draw. When paired with a compatible output port on a Spacefarer Module, it provides a straightforward way to load liquid cargo for space travel.
- It requires no power to operate.
- It can be used to fill either a Liquid Cargo Tank or a Large Liquid Cargo Tank.
- It is a good alternative to the Liquid Rocket Port Loader when electricity is limited or unnecessary.
- Connecting it with a Liquid Spacefarer Output Port allows liquid to be stored directly in the rocket’s cargo tanks.
