Supply Teleporter Output

Overview

The Supply Teleporter Output is the destination side of the Supply Teleporter structure found in certain ruins. It is paired with the Supply Teleporter Input, and the visible tubes on its back disappear into nowhere, emphasizing that it connects to an unseen transport system rather than to any nearby building.

By itself, the Supply Teleporter does not require power to operate. However, delivering materials into the connected Gas Pipe, Liquid Pipe, or Conveyor Rail still requires Critter or mechanical assistance. In practice, the teleporter acts as a remote delivery point for resources, while the surrounding infrastructure determines how items are actually moved into the linked network.

If the Supply Teleporter option is disabled when starting a new game, the related ruins can still generate, but they will not contain either the Supply Teleporter Input or the Supply Teleporter Output. This means the visual ruin may remain, while the functional teleporter components are absent.

  • The Supply Teleporter Output is not a standalone transport building; it is part of a paired teleporter setup.
  • Its back-facing tubes are purely visual and vanish into empty space.
  • Power is not needed for the teleporter itself, but routing materials into pipes or rails still depends on Critter or machinery-based assistance.
  • When the teleporter feature is disabled in world generation settings, ruins may still appear without the actual teleporter components.
