Lead Suit Checkpoint

Lead Suit Checkpoint is a checkpoint building used to control access to areas where lead suits are required. Like other checkpoints, it is directional: it must be built with a corresponding dock on the side opposite the direction its arrow points. Without that paired dock, the checkpoint cannot function properly as part of a suit checkpoint setup.

Its main purpose is to separate suit-protected work zones from the rest of the base while keeping movement organized. When set up correctly, duplicants use the checkpoint together with the related dock to enter or leave a protected area in the intended direction. This makes it useful for managing hazardous industrial spaces and for preventing unrestricted movement through a suit-locked route.

A few practical points matter when placing one:

• A Lead Suit Checkpoint must have a matching dock built on the side opposite the arrow.
• Duplicants wearing Atmo Suit, Oxygen Mask, or Jet Suit can pass through a Lead Suit Checkpoint without changing into a lead suit.
• Duplicants in those suits cannot return back through the checkpoint the same way.
• Before placing one, check the duplicants’ travel path carefully so they are not forced into an unsafe route.
• If needed, place a reverse-direction Atmo Suit Checkpoint and storage nearby so duplicants can move safely and still work efficiently.

Because of the one-way behavior, Lead Suit Checkpoint placement should be planned around the flow of traffic rather than treated as a simple gate. It works best when the entry and exit route are both clear, the correct dock is already in place, and the suit distribution area is arranged so duplicants can swap equipment without getting trapped or routed into danger.
