Toasted Mimillet
Overview
Toasted Mimillet is an edible food item made by grilling Mimillet. It exists as the processed, safe-to-eat form of the otherwise inedible Mimillet seed, making it the only way to turn that seed into a food source.
Because of that, Toasted Mimillet is not something that is gathered directly in its final state; it is produced through cooking. This makes it a simple but important early food transformation, especially when Mimillet is available and a colony wants to convert surplus seed material into calories instead of leaving it unused.
