Doggo Collar

The Doggo Collar is an item used to tame a Diggo and turn it into a Doggo. It can be found inside a Wooden Chest in treasure rooms located in the Deep Mine or on Island Reef, and it can also appear as a random rotating stock item on Jimmy's Boat.

To use the collar, place it in a toolbelt slot and use it on a Diggo. This permanently changes the wild Diggo into a tamed Doggo, and the collar remains attached for as long as the Doggo lives. Once tamed, the Doggo collar is not removed through normal play, so it effectively marks that animal as owned and domesticated.

A few important behaviors make the item worth keeping in mind:

• If the Doggo dies, the collar drops on the ground as loot and can be picked up and used again.
• If the Doggo is sold from the Animal tab of the Journal, the collar is returned in the mailbox after sleeping.
• Because the collar can be reused after death and recovered after selling, it is not permanently consumed in the same way as many one-time-use items.

Since the Doggo Collar is tied directly to taming, it is one of the key items for players who want a Doggo as a pet or farm companion. Finding one in the Deep Mine or on Island Reef can save time compared with waiting for Jimmy's Boat stock rotation, especially if you are planning to tame a Diggo as soon as you encounter one.
