Displays arbitrary graphics from a logic processor.

Overview

The Large Logic Display is a Serpulo-exclusive logic building in Mindustry sized at 6×6 tiles. It belongs to the family of logic blocks and serves as a large visual output surface for in-game logic; it was the first 6×6 block added to the game and preceded the Core: Acropolis. In Update 7.0 its maximum health was raised from 1440 to 1800.

Large Logic Display is intended to be used together with the game's logic system: scripts written in the logic language can draw and print information to large displays and interact with other logic-capable buildings. Logic programs commonly target displays and other I/O buildings such as Message, buttons, and turrets to produce interactive tools, readouts, and controls. The broader logic documentation treats displays as one of the primary output mechanisms for logic, alongside printed text and drawn graphics.

  • Size and classification: a 6×6 Serpulo-only logic block categorized under Logic Blocks.
  • Durability: health increased to 1800 in version 7.0 (previously 1440).
  • Historical note: the first 6×6 block introduced to Mindustry; followed later by Core: Acropolis.
  • Role in gameplay: functions as a large output device for logic programs, enabling detailed visual feedback and interfaces when combined with logic processors and other logic-enabled buildings.
  • Typical interactions: used with the logic language to display values, graphics, or status; commonly integrated with Message boards, buttons, and turrets to create interactive systems and controls.
  • Placement and defense: its 6×6 footprint makes it a significant structure on the map; the increased health makes it more resilient, but like other large buildings it benefits from placement behind walls or near production cores to reduce exposure to direct fire.

When designing logic-driven interfaces or dashboards, consider relying on the Large Logic Display for high-detail outputs and reserving smaller displays or Message boards for compact or textual feedback. Because it occupies a large footprint, plan base layouts to protect it from raids and to provide convenient wiring to logic processors and sensors.
