Marble Block

Overview
Marble Block is a sculpting building used to create decorative art pieces. It is one of the better material choices for sculpting because marble itself adds a strong decorative bonus when used as the construction material, making it a common option for early and mid-game decor projects.
A Marble Block built with Granite gains +20% total Decor. This makes Granite a particularly efficient companion material when you want to maximize the finished sculpture’s value without changing the building itself. The block can be used as a stand-in for other sculpting structures, and its decor output compares favorably with larger alternatives when material cost is taken into account.
Practical notes:
- Two Large Sculpting Blocks provide the same decor as a single Marble Block, but they cost twice as many resources in total.
- Because Large Sculpting Blocks occupy more space, their effective range is slightly reduced compared with a single Marble Block.
- Two Metal Blocks can provide twice as much decor as a Marble Block, or even more depending on the metals used.
- If you have the materials, Marble Blocks are an efficient way to get strong decor in a compact footprint.
When planning a decor room, Marble Block is often the cleanest choice if you want solid output without spending the extra space required by larger sculpting buildings. It fits well in tightly packed colonies where tile efficiency matters, while still benefiting noticeably from Granite construction.
